The
Lord Buddha Club was founded in 1996 with the objectives of imparting
education, Buddhist philosophy, cause of commercial and entrepreneur
activities for deprived and Dalits, besides the cause of human rights,
self respect, brotherhood and other charitable acts etc.The Buddha
Education Foundation is a trust to carry out charitable activities
and is promoted by the Lord Buddha Club. At the moment, the rarest
service to Dalits in particular and have-nots in general is being
carried out by a unique publication - Voice of Buddha, a fortnightly.
This journal is absolutely independent.
India
can never progress until and unless rational culture and religion
replaces the present one. Indians believe that achievements and
progress are dependent on fate and predestined orders. No serious
attempt is being made to eradicate this disease. For, every Indian
and even world community should strive hard to liberate Indians
from mental slavery and sickness. This
country is heading from bad to worse because in the recent past
the forces which are on rise are more orthodox, dogmatic and reactionary.
The
first charge to set the things in right direction is on Indians
and for the same a very few are available or ready and in fact this
is the greatest sorry state for the nation. Even these very few
are not united and forthcoming to save the nation and make it as
it should be. The reactionary forces in the past preferred to be
enslaved and subjugated by foreign invaders, though they were a
handful vis-à-vis the vast population of our country, and
had these reactionary forces had an iota of patriotic feeling and
brotherhood and independence, they would have certainly abandoned
the caste system and embraced Dalits and Backwards in defence of
the country. This itself establishes that these people will never
overcome hangovers of caste and other prejudices hence can never
be serious nation nation building, progress and brotherhood.
It
is the dalits, backwards and minorities including Christians and
all other citizens having faith in equality, brotherhood who have
to take up the responsibility to put the things in right position.
Dalits can do a lot but they are divided among themselves on caste
lines, false ego and jealousy. However only sufferer can fight and
none else. Second to them are also many who can avow for the cause.
We are committed to bring about sociocultural and religious revolution
in the country in the coming decades.
We
believe in action and in this line only number of creative activities
are being undertaken like setting up schools, vocational training
centres, awareness programmes and public meeting in addition to
publication of Voice of Buddha. We plan to bring out a Souvenir-
"Renaissance" which will unfold our actions and ways to
eliminate all hindrances and build strong nation.
For executing
the above pledges we need monetary, intellectual and other kind
of help. The financial contribution is accepted in the name of Buddha
